ABOUT THE BLOG

The Story

Through university i found it really hard to source clothing for a low cost, which were appropriate for the photoshoot in hand. For me fashion was one of the most enjoyable parts of the degree, as i could freely choose outfits for my models to fit my own brief. Clothing was not the only struggle to find, make up artists and hair stylists were also hard to come by in Stoke-On-Trent. This takes time and lots of effort to figure out the best way to source a great team with a low budget. Student life always seems so glamorous to people but the honesty is that you just can't slay on a student budget (unless you want to eat bread and butter all day everyday)

SO WHY START A BLOG?

To be honest, it is something i have been trying to accomplish for a good few years. But each time getting stuck on what i actually felt passionate about regarding the content. Now being finished with university completely, i need something creative to be doing. Trying to channel myself into starting a fashion blog has been somewhat difficult; but after hearing some wise words from Marina De Giovanni (http://www.notamodel.tv/)  i decided i needed to focus on one area for my blog. So with that in mind, i want to focus this blog on helping fellow creatives in finding ways to style photoshoots. This can work for any creative individual as i know we all create our own shoots when starting out. I will include in depth reviews of my own shoots, and the thoughts i had about the outfits, where i sourced them, secrets on how to get clothes for free for a shoot and plenty more. I might have a few segways along the way when i just want to share certain pieces that would look incredible in a photoshoot or just for the everyday fashionista!

Hope this helps at least someone starting out in a creative environment!

All the best, Georgia
